I recently wrote an article Do I Have A Gift? I am writing another one to share some of my other stories. I read a lot of books on Premonitions, The Other Side, God, Psychic Abilities, and so forth. In one of my books about God, there was an interesting chapter that contained true stories from people who had received flowers from God.
It explained every detail on how to go about this. You choose a flower or flowers, and a deadline on when you want to receive them. What I wanted more than anything in the world was to believe. I wanted to know that there is an Other Side, God, and my loved ones watching over me. So I decided to put this to the test.
My flower of choice was a single tulip, and my deadline was 3 days. The first day passed, nothing. The second day passed, nothing. On the third day I received a phone call from my friend who I had not seen in quite some time. She wanted to come over and spend the day together. When she arrived, we decided on going for a walk. As we were walking, for some strange reason, I decided we should detour and walk through an abandon school yard. As we were walking, her in front of me, she turns around and points to something and says "I think you should pick that up." I looked behind me and there in the school yard, on the concrete, laid this beautiful single tulip with every shade of color in it. I looked at her and started to cry.
I explained the story behind the tulip and after I finished she told me she had no idea why she said that to me. That was my sign. After that day, 5 years ago, I believe in something much greater than we know. That flower lasted almost a year in an simple vase.
A couple months ago I was driving in my car about to approach a four way stop. I heard the voice of my cousin, who passed away last September, tell me "You better slow down." As I did, a truck coming from my right flew right through the four way stop not noticing he had to stop. If I hadn't slowed down right when she told me, I would have stopped at the stop sign, then went assuming this truck would have stopped at his. She saved my life.
My gift is seeing things before they happen, hearing spirits, and knowing what people are going to say and do before they do. What I need to work on is improving these gifts. I want to control my visions, communicate with spirits and one day, hopefully, communicate with my spirit guide.
