The Holy Ghost of Jesus Christ

In 1997 I was incarcerated and thought I was going to die in there. That night I was holding a picture of Jesus and I was praying fervently that God please reveal to me that he was real. Believe it or not I saw what I came to realize through my mind's eye was the Holy Ghost of Jesus Christ Himself looking at me, just as I realized who in fact it was He flashed a smile (a very bright happy smile that I never saw before on any human being), He was speaking to me through my mind saying "you're ok, your going to be alright, this is nothing, I am with you". I was not sleeping, it was not a dream, I wasn't on anything, and I've never been diagnosed psychotic.

Believe it or not I really did receive a visitation from The Holy Ghost of Jesus Christ Himself. I think I'm supposed to tell the whole world about it. After this happened I thought I should read the whole bible so I did, then I studied it, then I went in and out of every different kind of Christ related church there is (to much disappointment in the end)... today I think I am supposed to just share with the whole world just what in fact did happen to me and let it go where it will lead me.

He looked like most of the pictures we see today with the long hair and beard, He was outlined in silver with all the colors of the rainbow running through Him, best I have found on earth that resembled this is rainbow foil...

if there are dark spirits it would be right to think that they follow a leader, maybe not by the name satan but a horrible creature nevertheless, my hope is in my newfound love and love has obviously started leading my path, true love will lead the way to eternal life

These stories, have one thing in common! They are all full of the fervent hope for the proverbial lifebelt that all humans seek! Moreover, we are all searching for the heavenly truth behind such revelation, and are willing to follow up any plausible lead that will give us the salvation required for the promised "eternal life",and why not? However, Pagans believe otherwise, and logical study, reveals that Satan, is an invention of the Christian Church! Catholic, and otherwise! We have all been conditioned by worship, to take what has been presented as truth? Furthermore,Paganism,is a fetillity right, and with much plausible argument! However,"Seek and thou shall find" To seek is to ask viable questions is it not?

My name is Andre, I'm writing this to scott I don't know how else to say this but me and you have seen something very similar. I was incarcerated at eastern regional jail for 6 months in 2004 for dui. I had started to go out and drink (me and my cousins) in some sort of tribute or something because my cousins baby son passed away. During my time incarcerated around 2 1/2 months in after gradually talking to everyone and hearing all kinds of beliefs, I became interested in learning about jesus and god. I started to wear all white t shirts and sweatpants, instead of the oranges to feel cleansed some way. I started to let my hair dread up and I kind of picked a favorite piece of the bible to use as my personal prayer, don't remember but it goes "the idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of mens hands, they have eyes but they cannot see, ears but cannot hear, and neither is there any breath in their lungs. One night I was laying on my slab sheet over my face like usual because you know the light never go all the way off, when I had a feeling of just...null...thats the only word I can use to describe it. I could not move, I was not sleep, I could not scream, and there was a man standing above me with long orange hair and beard, his eyes were orange, his clothes were like old potato sacks... And he spoke to me and said something along the lines of 'i've been traveling the earth forevr in search of the perfect man... That I was almost but I need to stop trying so hard". And all of a sudden I could sit up and he was gone... And I cried that night because I had never been really scared in my life until then. Dont know what this means man but something is trying to tell us something. That's obvious.

Hi! Scott
Like you I have been through many Protestant Churches for about 40 years. I call it my 40 years in the wilderness of discordant Christianity. To date there 60, 000 different protestant denominations. I have always been pretty anti Catholic. Most of the English are. Through a friend I started to read about the first 400 years and beyond of Christianity and found they were all Catholic. The most awesome thing about those Churches then and the Catholic Church today is they believed and still believe in the actual physical presence of Jesus in the Holy Mass. As soon as the bread and wine have been consecrated by an ordained priest the become the body blood soul and divinity of Jesus. I studied John Ch 6 over again and realised that Jesus after his ascension into heaven left us behind an awesome presence of Himself. Every tabernacle in every Catholic Church lit by a red light contains the living Jesus Christ. I now know this to be true. Since discovering the Eucharist I have found that Jesus Himself founded his Church on Peter and now the 264th Peter Pope Benedict who followed Pope John Paul the 2nd. Yes there were six really bad off track Popes but they never changed the Apostles doctrine. Jesus said that He would do the job. If you would like to get back to me I would love to tell you more. Your experience in Prison was wonderful.
Yours sincerely Vagabondfaith.

p.s. Years ago, saw Shepherd of the Hills - a play in Missouri, outdoors. It's based on a book. Apparently there is literature there that says Jesus or someone who was with him was there at some point and he was silverish. I remember reading it. This was startling and about twenty years ago, so not sure and not sure of the particulars. You might check.

Scott - Glad you're still with us. I was going up a hill/small mountain once and it had two lanes. On my side was a steep drop, no guardrail. Listened to the rock or country stations, but had, for some odd reason, found a religious music station. Started up. Halfway up, a car came racing over, passing another car. I thought that was it. Very calmly. I thought I'd either hit him or go off the hill and roll. Well, it was ten at night, dark, and scooted as much as I dared. Couldn't see. The three of us were on the two lanes and didn't hit. Got over the hill and down to the bottom and planned to go on to work. Worked 11-7. My legs were shaking tooo badly so pulled into a gas station. The truck behind me pulled in and the man jumped out, mostly hysterical. He had been far behind me, he said, and saw us. He said there wasn't an inch between the three of us. Well, I truly think the music kept me calm and faithful and accepting. No matter the out come. I'm happy that you have found your power.

Dear Friend,
I am elderly, and my vocation is a spiritual one. More and more, my full attention goes there now. However, what I will do is offer a prayer that the deepest desire of your heart be fulfilled. You have a wonderful gift in that you already know how intimately we are listened to...Farewell

Hello Scott,
Yes, I am in the USA - I am not sure there is much else to say about your experience, I believe it is something that goes beyond words - but then you doubtless already knew that. And you have also known how to proceed with it... However I will continue to check this website for a while? I just happened to come upon the site by accident, and there was that beautiful experience that came to you...
I noticed you also read the entry where Jesus put his hand on someone's shoulder... And there is an entry describing Jesus washing her feet... Seems to show that Christ is with us now as much as he was 2000 years ago... It was a joy to find this site, all of the entries, lovely...

Dear Scott,
I loved your wonderful experience and I think it is very true, very real. I can offer you a couple of ideas about the colors you saw around the Holy Ghost of Jesus - silver can be a color for your soul, and the rainbow colors might be like the promise that God sent to Noah in a rainbow, that you would not be flooded with all the fears and doubts anymore. So the rainbow might be just reinforcing the wonderful words you were hearing.
