Angel?

Some time ago on my lunch break from work I was walking down the side of the road when what looked to be a giant angel appeared in front of me as if to stop me from heading in the direction I was going. He looked like you might see in a picture drawing of the story of David and Goliath the way he was dressed only all in white. Kind of like a very intimidating warrior, only with out a sword. He had no wings that I could see but he was so large at my height of 6ft I only reached to about his knee. Because I could see him there but not with my eyes. I dismissed it as my imagination and continued walking. As I was passing underneath him, (through his legs). I felt as if a firm hand was placed on my shoulder and was shoved down to the ground. The pain I felt in my shoulder was such that I saw stars. I got up collected myself and continued on my way. To this day I do not know why this happened but I do know that the pain I felt was real and the dust I brushed off of my clothes from being shoved to the ground was real too. Who knows what might have happen if I had not been stalled by this Angel or was it an Angel? The pain receded quickly even though at first it felt as if my shoulder had been dislocated at the time. I am 6ft tall and weighed about 220 lbs at the time. When this happened it felt as though it my feel to a small child being pushed straight down. My legs buckled under the tremendous weight. Could this have been a divine intervention of some kind? I mean I read stories of Angels coming to the aid of a person but there is usually some known reason.
